We did three shows, made $6500, and had 7 people pass out as practices.
It was an interesting experience which was totally worth all the 0 because I fell asleep without finishing homework, but no one warned me about the ending to our Encore.
The ending being all the years lining up and dancing like the freaks of society that we are. All the seniors went to the very front, and it wasn't till the end of the last show that it hit all of us, seemingly at the same time, that hey! this is the last thing you'll ever do together. Forever. Never again.
Yeah...
Colorgaurd's Josh broke first, being demoted to sobs before we even finished the show!
A few more sensitive members then caught it and joined him.
Within 5-7 min. no one was left. Even freshmen and audience members(who stayed to watch hell rake loose) were reduced to tears. Even if you didn't want to cry: you did.
I'm not even sure if it qualifies for crying because we couldn't stop laughing at the same time.
It was Horrible!!!
What the hell was my teacher thinking, putting the seniors all together.
Jeez. Anywho, it took a good 2 hours for us all to be able to leave.
And I've hear that band banquet (a week from now) is way worse. Apparently the whole band fell to the floor in sobs when someone decided to play hide-and-seek.
